Whether you're choosing the perfect flowers or you've got bickering bridesmaids, Sherrie can handle it... so all you have to think about is saying "I do."
Andrea came to event planning through professional sports and advertising. She began planning events for the University of Michigan Athletic Department while getting her degree. Once she graduated, she went onto the Detroit Pistons, coordinating NBA sponsorship contracts, branding programs and hospitality events. A logical jump from professional sports was to advertising, with one of the biggest ad agencies out there—Ogilvy & Mather. She's worked with clients such as Ford, Jaguar, AT&T, Lincoln-Mercury and IBM.
It was planning the 60th birthday/retirement celebration for her mom, though, that really inspired her. Looking at her mom's past for inspiration, she designed a 1960s-themed party, complete with a martini bar and Shag-artist decor. "I loved researching the ideas and creating the whole look of the event. Even down to the appetizer forks. It was completely rewarding to see it all done and look so cool—and see people enjoying it." After planning numerous successful baby and wedding showers, weddings and even dog show parties, she decided she might just have a skill.
